The stipend enabled me to focus entirely on gaining technical experience, getting a taste of what a data science job might look like, rather than concerning myself with compensation. The stipend covered my housing expenses during the summer and allowed me to attend relevant technical conferences, broadening my professional network in the energy and climate sector.Hanji Xu, CogSci Major, Fall 24 grad
The program provided essential support during my summer internship, enabling me to gain valuable experience in designing and developing accessible technology solutions for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. The stipend was invaluable in covering my living expenses, which enabled me to dedicate my time fully to designing and developing this app.CogSci Major Student, Spring 2026
