Summer Minor Launching 2025

The Cognitive Science Program is pleased to announce the launch of a new Summer-Only Minor/Certificate Program: Cognitive Science and the Future of Tech.

This innovative program combines principles from a wide array of disciplines to understand how technology interrelates with learning, decision-making, problem-solving, and creativity. Whether you're interested in AI and medicine, human rights, UX design, business, or something else entirely, this minor provides the knowledge and skills to navigate the evolving relationship between mind and machine.

The Summer Minor in Cognitive Science and the Future of Tech is open to U.C. Berkeley undergraduates and is approved for all Berkeley undergraduate students. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Minor in Cognitive Science and the Future of Tech.

Why Earn a Minor in Cognitive Science and the Future of Tech?

This program will provide you with the skills to address some of the most challenging problems facing institutions of all sizes. Almost every aspect of our economy and society more generally is affected by the evolution of technology and its relationship with the human mind.
