Here is the Cal Alumni Association's guide to graduation. Note that this is for UC Berkeley's general commencement, not for the Cog Sci Major Commencement.

The CogSci commencement ceremony for Spring 2020 has been announced.

It will take place Friday, May 22nd from 9-11AM in Zellerbach Hall.

Please note: That is all the information we have currently. Further details, steps to register for the ceremony, how to buy tickets et cetera will be released in March. We will update the piazza and the CogSci website when we have that information

NOTE: This ceremony will be held for Cognitive Science majors only.

The Commencement Speaker for 2020 is TBA.

NoteParticipation in this or any commencement ceremony does not guarantee that you will officially graduate and receive your Bachelor’s Degree. To receive your degree you must complete your requirements and ensure that you are on a degree list. To find information about the degree granting process, please visit the College of Letters & Science graduation information page

Graduating Seniors: Register for the Ceremony

To reserve a seat for at the Cognitive Science Commencement Ceremony and to ensure your name appears in the program, students MUST complete the Exit Survey and Commencement Registration Form by TBA.

The Cognitive Science Program does not handle diplomas. The scroll you will receive at the commencement ceremony will commemorate all Commencement exercises of the Departments, Schools, and Colleges of the Berkeley Campus of the University of California.

Diplomas are generally available about four months after your graduation date from the Office of the Registrar (120 Sproul Hall, 643-7490), or you can have it mailed to you. For more information, please visit the Office of the Registrar.

If you need proof of completing your degree before the Registrar has processed your diploma, you may obtain a Certificate of Completion from them. More information regarding the Certificate of Completion is available on the Registrar's web site.
